This was an interesting winter in Park City. Although the snowfall was not ideal, it has lead to an early arrival of spring!
With the resorts closed, many people wonder, “what is there to do in Park City?” The best way to answer that questions is, “it is completely up to you!”
The Adventurer
If you love the outdoors and your mountain bike, Park City is the place to be. According to Mountain Biking Park City, and the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA), Park City is the world’s first and (so far) only Gold Level Ride Center Destination. Take advantage of hiking, climbing, and biking to your hearts content.
The Shopper
Park City is still open for business with many boutiques and shops on Main Street. Take a stroll and stop into all of the shops from jewelers to bookstores. Don’t forget, Park City is home to the Tanger Outlets, which recently expanded to include stores such as Under Armour, White House Black Market into their already impressive line up of J. Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, Adidas, and many more. Park City in the spring is a shopper’s paradise.
The Historian
Did you know that Park City was a miner’s town? I wonder what they were looking for and when it became a vacation destination for skiers. History buffs get a fill of history and culture at the Park City Museum. For Memorial Day, the museum will offer a very special Historic Main Street Memorial Day Walking Tour. You can learn stuff about Park City, that I don’t even know!
The Kid (at heart)
For everyone that likes to run around and just have fun, Park City offers a fun-filled experience at the Utah Olympic Park. During the spring and summer months, the Olympic Park is a great place for kids of all ages to enjoy activities such as Comet Bobsled Rides, Adventure Ropes Courses, Drop Tower, Extreme Zipline, and more.
No matter what you are into, Park City has something for everyone to enjoy this spring!
