So Much To Ski, So Little Time
Lets talk 2016-17 Utah season pass pricing and the latest deals. With 10 ski resorts within less than an hour of the Salt Lake City International Airport, and 14 statewide in total, the options are endless in Utah. While it may seem a daunting task to find those unique deals and discounts that vary per resort, we’ve done our research to simplify the process.
Deals
- For Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resorts, buy online in advance to save a few bucks and avoid waiting in lines. Purchasing tickets at the window remains the most expensive option.
- Brighton Ski Resort hosts “Quad-Wednesdays” on the first three Wednesdays of December where you can buy a lift ticket for only $20.00.
- Brighton also hosts night skiing, which offers a ticket cheaper than a day pass. Check in with them around Christmas, because they also offer free lift tickets to anyone who dresses up like Santa!
- Liftopia.com is a great resource for cheap day and several day pass options at a discount. We’re big fans for Liftopia and recommend it. Unfortunately they have little to no representation in Park City.
- Did you know Ski Utah offers a 5th and 6th Grade Passport program, where 5th graders ride for free three times at each Utah resort and 6th graders get to ride once at each resort? Register online for $35 at skiutah.com/passport.
- Alta and Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude are part of the Ski City Super Pass where you can buy 3-10 days at any of these Cottonwood Canyon resorts and save. Head to visitsaltlake.com/skicity/super-pass for more on information.
